5 Years Into WordPress! Life As A Blogger

WordPress reminded me it’s almost 5 years since I started blogging. It just put me into a nostalgia of where it all began and how much effort I have put into it. And I want to start with Thanking all of my subscribers who were part of this journey.

If I think about it, blogging has become my identity even though I haven’t borne any fruit out of it except for satisfaction. Over the past 5 years, this space has been my comfort zone where I expressed my thoughts and opinions without barricades.

I started it without an expectation. I experimented with it and explored it throughout these years. All I wanted was to put myself out there and my love for writing, travelling and expressing my thoughts. But yet, it has also become my portfolio.

I am a clumsy writer, I have never been a grammar freak… but when you are a literature student you set a standard to yourself. So, I criticize my writing more than ever. But when I write here I never do that, probably because when I write here I never set a standard to my writing but to my thoughts and try to be my authentic self as possible.

Whether it’s writing or illustrating I love how it gets me into trance. When I share a piece of work here, it’s a part of me that I am leaving behind here. I know, I still have so much to learn and so much to explore and grow here. I have started trying to give my full uncompromised attitude to A Solivagant’s Shoes.

Another thing I love about being here is my opportunity to look at so many amazing writers, photographers and travellers who inspire me everyday. You guys are amazing.

My thoughts always overflow tremendously to an extent that I am always sure that I could write without a limit till the world rests without running out of words. In that case, I am pretty sure I celebrate my 50th Anniversary with WordPress too.

Thank you my dearest Readers for Loving A Solivagant’s Shoes! And Thank You WordPress for this platform.
