In the eyes of my Dogs

Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?

Being a human has made me lonesome the moment my door of consciousness opened. The human-human connection. The longing to be loved by fellow humans has always been beyond my scope. It’s just a facade. Or should I say a mirage. The love I am talking about is not the one that fits just as romance. Love is never a one size fits all. We all know that.

To be accepted for who you are is the purest form of love. Every time I watch anime, I love the fact that despite the uniqueness each character carries, they love and admires each other and their differences beyond judgement. They accept others. Love and friendship thrive in a relationship where one accept other for who they are. One protects and respects other’s and their emotions.

But besides getting the overflowing love from my family, when I look at myself in the eyes of all the dogs I had and have in my life… Oxytocin and Serotonin surge like the flooded stream.

Do I even deserve this much love? Cause in the eyes of my fellow humans I am always someone replaceable. But… The unconditional love from my dogs has always been a remedy to my existential crisis.

And my dogs taught me that way of love!

Here is a collage of all the dogs that gave me love me like no one ever has! You can see in those eyes… Yes you do!
