Mr Queen Promotional Poster. The poster art copyright is believed to belong to the distributor of the television series, TVN , the publisher of the television series or the graphic artist.

Let us start with the most chaotically imaginative and funny drama out there – Mr Queen. Imagine a modern day chef who pass out during an accident wakes up in the body of a queen from the Joseon era! I decided to watch it because Choi Jin Hyuk was appearing briefly and Shin Hye Sun is starring.

The Choas this series ensures is pure comedy. Shin Hey Sun’s performance as Queen Cheorin, who’s actually stuck in a woman’s body, is both hilarious and impressive. Every character is hilarious, their body language, the script and the entire plot of a 21st century man navingating the palace life of a woman. My mom loved this series more than me. Plus, the background music and ost add to the humour part is cherry on top. It will make you literally roll on the floor laughing. I have previously talked about this series in my blog post on “Top K Series Starring Namkoong Min“. Chief Kim is a laugh riot, with Namkoong Min playing the quirky, money loving accountant who somehow becomes the unlikely hero. There is no way you can’t fall in love with this character.

He is also the ideal one who you wish you’d have in your work place. His antics to outwit the corrupt higher -ups are a perfect blend of humour and cleverness. Whether he is pulling a rediculous stunts to expose bad guys or trying to annoy 2PM Juno by kissing his cheeks, Chief Kim’s journey from selfish schemer to a true leader is hilarious and heartwarming.

I know its a pretty old series, but, Flower Boy Next Door is that feel ggod, light hearted romcom that sneaks up on you and leaves a lasting impact. This is also one of the series which I have watched more than 4 times. This series had made my ideal type to be the humourous and cute guy like Enrique Geum played by Yoon Shi Yoon. I used to have craze on him during my highschool days. Park Shin Hye plays the role of a reclusive webtoon editor who is antisocial and highly introverted because of getting bullied at school. Her life starts to change (typical kdrama plot in 2013) after she finds entangled with the handsome boys in her neighbourhood.

The humour in the drama comes from realistic awkward situations, misunderstandings that rise as these vibrant extroverted guys break into her quiet world. Its such a sweet, funny and utterly charming drama that is pefect for you and your friends to sit and have a good laugh.
