Over the past few weeks I have been doing some shopping for an upcoming travel plan. And that is when I stumbled upon the Indian footwear brand Neeman’s. While browsing for footwear options on Myntra, one of Neeman’s slippers caught my eye because of its design. But it wasn’t Myntra where I eventually made my purchase. During purchase of a different product in a different website, I got an offer coupon of Neeman’s. This led me back to their website. As someone who has a soft spot for sustainably-made-products, this brand piqued my curiosity, and I decided to give it a try.

Scrolling through their collection, I found myself drawn to the Ethnic Cross Strap Knit Sandals. It looked effortlessly chic with a criss-cross strap adorned with gold-toned embellishments. These black and gold sandals felt like the perfect balance of style and comfort, versatile enough to wear for festivities, weddings and summer outfits. Plus there are few more reasons that got me impressed about Neeman’s.

Neeman’s isn’t just another footwear brand, it’s one that is trying to blend style and sustainability. I am very much impressed with their commitment to using eco-friendly materials. Being someone who has worked for D2C (Direct to Customer) brand, I am really impressed by the way they try their best to prioritizing customer satisfaction. And I am pretty sure they will be making name for themselves among conscious consumers.

Design and Style: A Classy, Sustainable Touch

Neeman’s product designs are classy and looks unique. They have a leathery and luxurious vibe, especially the premium cork sandals stands out alot. I skimmed through some of their shoe collection which also looked trendy and comfortable.

Sandals Feedback

For me, Ethnic Cross Strap Knit Sandals are undoubtedly eye-catching. With the criss-cross strap adorned with gold embellishment and handwoven beads, they add a hint of elegance to traditional outfits. The cushioning is comfortable but not in a very soft way and the material looked quite durable. Its been just one month, lets see how it goes.

However, I experienced footwear bites on my first wear. To prevent any chance of footwear bite, I recommend applying a bit of oil underside before the first wear. I’ll update about further experience post my trip where I’ll be wearing more.

Purchase Experience With Neeman’s: When Beauty Didn’t Fit

The packaging? Impressive. The sandals arrived in recycled eco-friendly packaging, with a biodegradable drawstring bag like I mentioned before. But, my usual size 6 which I ordered didn’t fit. A bit of a letdown at first, but Neeman’s outstanding customer service saved the day.

Their return and exchange process was seamless via whatsapp. The support team was prompt and understanding, and within a few days, my replacement in size 5 arrived. The fit was perfect.

However, in the exchange product the biodegradable drawstring bag was missing, and the packaging wasn’t as polished as the first. I raised the issue. They were ready to send new product all together, but since I am okay with the product and it was just the drawstring bag was missing, I asked them to send it.

Neeman’s Customer service team took extra 2-3 days time, but they resolved the issue and sent me the missing bag separately which reached me after 2 weeks. I have to say I am impressed by their dedication to customer satisfaction.

The Final Verdict:

Pros:

– Supportive cushioned insole
– Stylish and attractive design
– Durable construction using eco-friendly materials
– Commitment to sustainable practices and packaging

Cons:

– Limited color and design variety
– Insole comfort and design efficiency can be improved
– Minor inconsistencies in packaging across orders
– Delhivery as a delivery partner is kind of a let down for the brand especially in my locality as they aren’t reachable or responsive.

Personally, I feel like Neeman’s is doing a good job as a brand. The product still have some areas to improve interms of comfort level that other international brands are offering, but I feel like it is a really good Indian footwear brand which you can explore if you are into sustainable fashion.
