Easily

Step aside for the office sage,
Who stepped unasked upon the stage,
To lecture me with blinded eyes,
And confidently preach false lies.
“It’s easy, easier, easiest!” she hissed,
Exposing every rule she missed,
With all the swagger, arrogance, and grit…
Of someone who doesn’t know a bit.

She loves to posture, preach, and mock,
While running on a broken clock.
Yet somehow missed, oh, what a pity!
That adverbs exist in this city.
To run a job with skill and grace…
Is done easily in this place.
An -ly describing how we do,
A simple concept… just for you.

So let our Shakespeare play her part,
With zero brain and half a heart.
We’ll work with speed, precision, class,
And watch her make an absolute farce.
While she gets stuck on adjectives,
We’ll handle things… easily.
